Amyloidóza jazyka

Amyloidóza je porucha proteinového metabolismu charakterizovaná abnormálnímextracelulárním ukládáním proteinových hmot fibrilární struktury. Autoři popisují případ kombi-nované difuzně lokalizované primární amyloidózy s hlavními projevy v oblasti jazyka, která imito-vala zhoubný tumor, a upozorňují na úskalí diagnostiky.

Amyloidosis is a disorder of the protein metabolism characterized by abnormalextracellular deposition of protein masses with a fibrillar structure. The authors describe a case ofcombined diffuse primary amyloidosis with the main manifestations in the region of the tonguewhich imitated a malignant tumour, and draw attention to the pitfalls of diagnosis.
